Anxiety is a natural, often helpful response to stress that prepares your body and mind to face perceived threats. When balanced, it helps sharpen your focus and motivates problem-solving. But when it becomes frequent, intense, or disproportionate to the situation, it can interfere with your daily life—causing persistent worry, restlessness, difficulty concentrating, muscle tension, and disrupted sleep. Anxiety can arise from your genetics, brain chemistry, learned behavior, and your life events, and it may show up as generalized anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, or specific phobias. There are many things that can help reduce your anxiety and we can work together to figure out what works for you!
